Cornelius honored for service

TEXARKANA – CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System, CHRISTUS St. Michael Rehabilitation Hospital and CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital – Atlanta honored 240 Associates for their dedicated years of service and excellence during their annual Associate Awards event on Oct. 4.

Associates ranging in years of service from five to 40 years, in five-year increments, were recognized. The total for all the honorees was an amazing 3,380 years. Notably, Annette Cornelius, LVN, in the Emergency Services Department, received her 40-year award.

Among the largest employers in the Texarkana region, CHRISTUS St. Michael honored five Associates for 35 years of service including Terri Daniels, Francine Francis, Alicia Reed, Susan Stuart and Brenda Tyl. Thirty-year awards were received by 16 Associates. In addition, 10 Associates were recognized for 25 years, 45 Associates for 20 years, 38 Associates for 15 years, 68 Associates for 10 years, and 57 Associates for 5 years.

Serving the Texarkana region for more than 100 years, CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System takes the opportunity annually to recognized Associates and their dedication to extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ through the work they perform in delivering health care to the Texarkana region.
