Weather affects car show
PRESCOTT – Though it didn’t rain, the threat of inclement weather kept participation in the Lion’s Club’s Second Annual Freedom Ride Car Show to a minimum.
While there weren’t as many cars entered as last year, the event was still a success with those who participated bringing some cool street iron. The hit of the show had to be the 1926 Chevy.
Along with the cars, and one motorcycle, the Lions Club set up its food booth and served a pancake breakfast as well as burgers and hot dogs for lunch. There were also vendors on hand, hawking their wares for fried pies, handmade soaps, Rada Knives and Tupperware.
