Hope FFA Rodeo

The oldest high school rodeo in the state of Arkansas is set for this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Fair Park Rodeo Arena. The 60th annual Hope Future Farmers of America Rodeo gets underway each evening at 7pm. The rodeo starts Thursday night with “old-timers” night, former Hope alumni who have been out of school for at least five years. The events on Thursday will include Chute Dogging, Team Roping, Roping, Wild Steer Tagging, and Barrell Racing. Student events begin Friday and the student events both nights will include bareback, junior queens, hide ride, Jr. bulls, goat tying, Calf roping, pig scramble mutton busting, barrell pickup, chut dogging, barrel racing, bull riding, poles, and pig dressing. In addition to these events, Calf Haltering is set for Friday night and Wild Steer Tagging is set for Saturday. Admission is $5 each evening. Everyone is encouraged to support the 60th annual Hope FFA Rodeo!
