Compared to last week: Feeder steers 2.00-6.00 lower. Feeder heifers under 500 lbs. steady; over 500 lbs. 4.00-7.00 lower. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 1.00-2.00 higher. Quality was average to plain. Buyers were not as aggressive this week. Weaned yearling type cattle sold at a premium. Supply included: 91% Feeder Cattle (49% Steers, 46% Heifers, 5% Bulls); 7% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 12% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 37%.
