Palmer PPD spotlight of the week

PRESCOTT – Rev. Altha R. Palmer is one of the Chaplains for the Prescott Police Department. Rev. Palmer is 76 years old and a graduate of McRae High School. He has been a resident of Prescott most of his life. Rev. Palmer is a veteran of the Armed Forces. He currently serves as the Vice-President of the Prescott Ministerial Alliance and as a Prescott School Board Member. Rev. Palmer studied at UACCH in Hope, Arkansas and Bowie Baptist Seminary Extension in Wake Village, Texas. He enjoys studying the Bible and preaching the Word of God. He was employed by the USPS and Firestone but is retired now. He said “I thank God for my wonderful wife, Mrs. Bobbie Palmer, who takes good care of me.”
