Timothy Jerome Flemons

Timothy Jerome Flemons departed this life on January 18, 2022. He was born on November 29, 1961, in Prescott, AR to the late Willie and OreneWilliams Flemons. One brother Robert D. Flemonspreceded him in death. He united with Mt. Ephesus Baptist Church in Prescott, AR when he was a young child.

He graduated from Prescott High School, matriculated at A. M. & N. College located in Pine Bluff, AR and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. He was a substitute teacher in the Nevada County and Clark County areas until he grew restless and migrated to New Orleans, LA and from there to Las Vegas, Nevada where he made his place of residence until approximately three years ago when he returned home to Prescott, AR. Timothy was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a caring, friendly, and kind-hearted person who never hesitated to help anyone in need. He loved being by himself, and in death he was alone. His latest endeavor was to become an eighteen wheeler truck driver. Here again one can see that he loved traveling and being alone. He was a very independent young man.

Timothy is survived by two sisters: Bobbie Clay-Brewster, Texarkana, TX, and Fannie McCullough-Colbert (Donnel) Hope, AR; four brothers: Lee W. Flemons (Valerie) Benton, AR, Sylvester Flemonsand Calvin Flemons, Prescott, AR and Rickey E. Flemons, Hayward, CA. He will be missed by his nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

There will be a Memorial Home Going Service for Timothy at 1:00 P. M. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Brandon’s Mortuary in Hope, AR. Due to the current COVID conditions, masks are required. The service is limited to family only, but will be live-streamed from Brandon’s Mortuary Facebook Page.
