Jonquil Festival Returns After Two Year Hiatus

Historic Washington State Park kicked off their 54th annual Jonquil Festival and the first one since 2019 due to COVID on Friday. Despite cool, windy weather, a good crowd turned out for such events as tours of the historic structures, shopping with a variety of vendors, food trucks, music, a fish fry for the Washington VFD, and a celebration of the Hope Lions Club’s 75th anniversary. Warmer weather and plenty more activities are set for Saturday March 19th from 9am until 5pm. General festival admission is free, tours of the historic structures are the regular price, and parking is $5. Everyone is invited to welcome in spring at the Jonquil Festial at Historic Washington!
