ROC Picks Up Litter

A group of individuals and staff from Rainbow of Challenges’ Rainbow Industries recently took advantage of the cooler morning temperatures and tackled a stretch of their adopted highway, located at the sign on Hwy 29 South, in front of the First United Methodist Church. Overseen by Rainbow Industries Coordinator, Jamee Jones-Heflin, the group set off heading south picking up trash and other items for a total of THREE miles! Let’s all salute this outstanding group serving the City that, in turn, serves them. “Volunteering in the community and to see the progress these individuals make every day makes me so proud,” beamed Jamee. “It reminds me why ROC’s presence is so important to the individuals we serve, their families, and our community as a whole.”
