Hempstead County Farm Bureau Celebrated National Farm Day Cooking and Giving Fried Pies to Local Farmers

In honor of all of our farmers in Hempstead County and to celebrate “National Farmer’s Day”, the Hempstead County Farm Bureau cooked apple and peach Fly Wheel Pies Wednesday at the Hempstead County Farm Store.  The Farm Bureau folks cooked up a lot of pies to say “thanks” to our local farmers and they remind you to thank a farmer this week for all they do!
