Compared to last week: Feeder steers 2.00-8.00 lower. Feeder heifers unevenly steady. Slaughter cows 3.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 2.00-5.00 higher. Some calves with desirable condition and kind broadened the price range of some weight ranges. Quality was average. Buyer participation was active. Stocker cow sale section offered some very attractive females and brought very respectable figures. Supply included: 80% Feeder Cattle (49% Steers, 45% Heifers, 6% Bulls); 14% Slaughter Cattle (80% Cows, 20% Bulls); 6% Replacement Cattle (58% Stock Cows, 18% Bred Cows, 8% Bred Heifers, 17% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 19%.
