Prescott High School awarded CTE grant

LITTLE ROCK – The Arkansas Department of Education: Division of Career and Technical Education recently announced Prescott High School as a recipient of the Modernization Grant initiative aimed at enhancing established Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways across Arkansas.

The grant for PHS is for $27,030 was awarded for H2 Accounting Pathway. This grant is designed to support pathways already in place that align with high-demand and high-wage (H2) occupations, ensuring students are well-prepared for the evolving job market. This grant allows modernizing minimum equipment to meet the latest technology demands and opportunities within the established H2 pathways.
