Doneta Mae Daniels

Doneta Mae Daniels, 91, of Hope passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, in Hope.

Doneta was born May 21, 1933, in Emmet, AR to Robert and Pearl Avery Cash. She was a former owner and operator of City Plumbing with her husband Elmer Daniels. Doneta loved to go fishing, work in her garden and spend time with her family.

Mrs. Daniels was preceded in death by her parents, husband Elmer Daniels, two daughters Nancy Maroon and Cindy Cripps, a grandson Brian Maroon, three brothers Sydney Cash, Rodney Cash and Melvin Cash, a sister Oleta Hatch.

She is survived by four sons, James R. “Bob” Glass (Denver) of Magnolia, Rickey Joe Glass (Judy) of Hope, Jackie Lynn Glass (Sharon) of North Carolina, and Jimmy Don Glass (Angie) of Emmet; a daughter, Penny Almond of Hope; twenty grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held 1:00pm to 2:00pm Monday, December 2, 2024, at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
