A fire Wednesday (12-11) night completely destroyed a house well over 100 years old in the Fair Hills Community in Nevada County north of Prescott. Fire broke out around 10pm and the house was quickly engulfed. It was occupied by the Fair Hills Volunteer Fire Department’s chief and his family. That department responded along with the Nevada County Rescue Unit, the Emmet VFD, and the Prescott Fire Department.
