The Hope Kiwanis Club welcomed a visit from Daniel Bramlett of First Baptist Church on Tuesday (12-10). Bramlett gave an update on the “Banner Hope” program. He noted while the program failed to get a grant renewed in October but the program is continuing. Bramlett said their jail ministry is continuing as well as a male transition facility and a new female transition facility. Banner Hope is continuing to seek more grant funding and is optimistic the program will be funded.
Bramlett also talked about Artificial Intelligence and noted it takes the “human element” out of creation. He noted A.I. is a “reactive agent” and generates nothing on its on. He noted this is just the opposite of the birth and life of Jesus Christ. Bramlett said God choose to send his son, in person, to rescue mankind.
Bramlett’s newspaper column can be found weekly in the Hope-Prescott News.
