Better Pastures and Ponds cattle producers meeting

HOPE – Kim Rowe, Hempstead County agriculture agent and Stacey Stone, Nevada County agriculture agent with the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service, are teaming up to offer “Better Pastures and Ponds,” a free meeting for local cattle and hay producers to learn proper pond management practices, pest management of hay and pastures, and how to have better success when applying pesticides.

The program will be Thursday, March 13th at Hempstead Hall on the UAHT campus in Hope from 5:30-8:30 pm. It is sponsored by Farmers Bank and Trust.
