Kihren Block of Prescott High is Regional Winner in Stock Market Game

Mrs. Haynie’s Personal Finance Spring semester class at Prescott High School participated in the Stock Market Game during the Spring Semester 2025 through Economics Arkansas. This game is a national program of the SIFMA Foundation that allows students and teachers to invest a virtual $100,000 in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds throughout an engaging 13-week simulation during the spring semester (January 6-April 11). Arkansas is divided into 6 regions for Senior High (10th-12th Grades). The first-place regional winner is only recognized at a statewide awards luncheon.

Kihren Block, a Prescott High School Sophomore, is the regional winner out of 118 regional participants from other schools in our region. He is invited to a luncheon to honor him on Thursday, May 1st, at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock. Kihren will receive $125 cash, a medalion, a certificate, and a tour ticket to the Clinton Presidential Library for being the Regional Winner.

Congratulations to Kihren Block!!
What a semester for learning about the market!
