Hope Kiwanis Club Hears About WOLF at Hope Public Schools

The Hope Kiwanis Club heard from Lisa Reese who is over the “Wolf” program at Hope High. The program is for students with disabilities and they get to work and make money. Reese says the program help prepare the students to get ready to work as an adult, either through Rainbow of Challenges or private industry. Reese says the students have different levels of ability but the goal is to give them skills for when they get out of school and to also have them learn to work as a team.
Reese says the program can handle up to 45. She currently has 9 students. The program not only allows the students to learn live but they earn minimum wage as well.
Persons who would like to learn more about the program can contact Ms. Reese through the Hope Schools.
