Meet New Prescott School District Superintendent Angie Bryant

Prescott’s new Superintendent, Angie Bryant, attended first grade in Foulke and then her family moved to Texarkana, Arkansas. She attended the public school system there. Bryant obtained a Bachelor of Science at Texas A and M and worked a full-time job at the same time until she did student teaching. Bryant had a double major studying Accounting and Education.
Bryant has experience both in Accounting and Education. She took a year off to work at Millway Federal Credit Union.
Bryant obtained an Master of Science in Education with an emphasis on curriculum at Southern Arkansas University. Bryant said she wanted to be a more effective educator, so she studied curriculum program administration at Henderson, obtaining her certification in Leadership. This is required to become a Superintendent.
Bryant was hired as the Interim Superintendent and became the full-time Superintendent at Genoa spending a total of 4 years in these roles. Bryant has a total of 31 years in Education with 24 of those at Genoa. At Genoa Central Bryant held the positions of teacher, curriculum and programs, and superintendent.
