Charles W. Stuart

Mr. Charles W. Stuart was the only child born to the late Mr. Dee and Ms. Exie B. Stuart. He transitioned to his Heavenly home on May 3, 2025, surrounded by his two sons. Charles married Esterene Cheatham and during the union 3 sons were born, Dwight, Dwayne and Jerry Stuart and daughter, Evelyn Stuart.

Charles was a graduate of Macedonia High School. He shared many stories of him and brother, Herman D. Johnson being outstanding athletes on the school basketball team. He was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church, serving as the president of the usher board, an active member of the Deacon Ministry, a member of the male choir and a very active member of the Southwest Arkansas Baptist District. After many years, he retired from Champions Automotive Plant.

Mr. Stuart was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Stuart; his wife of 42 years, Esterene Stuart and his youngest son, Mr. Jerry R. Stuart.

He is survived by sons, Dwight Stuart, Charles D. Stuart (Joyce) and daughter, Evelyn Stuart. He is also survived by daughter-in-law, Cynthia Stuart; sisters, Gwen Shrophsire of Atlanta, GA and the late Earnestine McFall; grandchildren, Nichelle Lang (Matt), Crystal Stuart, Fallon Stuart, Falana Garner (Keith), Richreda Shaw (Raymond), Justin Stuart, Nikki Anderson (Tim), Jerrica Stuart and Ramone Fossette; great-grandchildren, Collin Wright, JaTavian Stuart, Evan Arnold, Keith Garner, Jr., Noah Garner, Raymond Shaw, Jr., Rylan Shaw and Dr. Cameia Anderson. Our dad is survived by his special friend, Dianne Williamson, as well as a host of relatives and friends.
