Ms. Lucy Jane Hinson, aged 71, of Hope, AR, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, in Hope, AR. Born on May 29, 1953, in Ferriday, LA, to Max and Charlotte Jones, Lucy was known for her kindness and hardworking nature. Her children fondly remember her as loving, wise, and full of great advice. She was a devoted single parent who raised two ‘hard-headed’ boys. Her children and their friends will always remember her legendary breakfasts who cooked as if cooking for an army. She was a wonderful person who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Lucy is preceded in death by her parents, Max and Charlotte Jones.

She is survived by her brother, Johnny Jones; her two sons, Dylan and Johnny Hinson; her daughter, Jaime Oliver; and five beautiful grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 1-3 PM at the Brazzel Oakcrest chapel.

Arrangements are under the direction of BRAZZEL/OAKCREST, the Funeral Home of Hope.
