HOPEWe all know how the old adage goes, it is supposed to bring “flowers,” except it doesn’t say how much April showers stink for those who are living in the margins. Not everybody has a nice warm dry home to go to, or a warm dry vehicle to drive them around. Rain gear is essential when you are living rough and battling the elements or if you just don’t have reliable transportation.

In April we gather up rain gear, from inexpensive ponchos, umbrellas, to high vis waterproof gear for those who may be walking outside at night who need to stay dry(ish). Wet clothes, wet socks, are not only uncomfortable but water saturated clothing can cause issues with hypothermia (cold), mildew, skin infections and dermatitis. Rain gear can provide a bit of prevention for these issues.

So this month… Please bring by some rain gear to help others in Hope who need a bit more hope!
