Mrs. Lyllene Burke Orr, 89, of Hope, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Hope.
She was born on June 17, 1936, to Wayward and Phynetor (Clark) Burke of DeAnn, Arkansas.
Lyllene was retired from First South Savings & Loan of Hope after many years of faithful service and a longtime member of Unity Baptist Church.
She loved to quilt and was an excellent seamstress. She loved playing cards with friends, camping, and traveling with family and the Good Sam’s Club. What she loved most of all was watching her grand and great-grandkids playing sports and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Orr, who passed away in 2017 after 64 years of marriage, and her parents.
Lyllene is survived by her three children, Vicki Barker and her late husband Jack, Rick Orr, and Rodney Orr and his wife Jennifer, all of Hope; her grandchildren, Jennifer Murphy and husband Marcus, Courtney Hamilton and husband Adam, Jessie Fisher and husband Justin, Ryan Orr, Sydney Lewis and husband Morgan, and Rusty Orr; great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Emma Kate, and Braxton Murphy, Reed, Kinsley and Knox Fisher, and Baby Girl Lewis on the way.
Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service from 1:00- 2:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home-Hope.
Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Unity Baptist Church Youth Group.
