Donna Cornelius Dixon – Updated

Donna Cornelius Dixon, age 71, passed away Tuesday, May 26,2026. Donna was born on July 11, 1954, to the late Lewis and Irene Cornelius.

Donna was a devoted Christian woman who loved the Lord and faithfully served as an active member of Missionary Grove Baptist Church. She cherished her church family dearly and found great joy in worship, fellowship, and serving others.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 20 years, Gayle Dixon; her son, Brandon Tullis and wife Megan of Prescott, two stepdaughters, Courtney Hampton and husband Daniel of Blevins, and Stephanie Nolte and husband Jason of Nashville. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Slade Tullis, Harlyn Tullis, Reif Nolte, Rodney Nolte, Natalie Nolte, Bay Nolte, Caitlyn Smith, Cadence Smith, Kyle Hampton, and Hunter Hampton.

Donna is also survived by her sister, Jo Ridling and husband Mike of Prescott; brother, Jim Cornelius of Prescott; brother-in-law, Charles Mathews of Morrilton; sister-in-law, Barbara Cornelius of Prescott; brother-in-law, Pat Henry of North Port, Florida; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends whom she considered family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Irene Cornelius; sister, Judy Mathews; brother, Tom Cornelius; and two sisters-in-law, Sue Cornelius and Wanda Henry.

Donna worked as an administrative assistant for 29 years at Fike’s Trucking Company in Hope. After leaving Fike’s, she continued staying busy working in other roles and serving those around her.

Donna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend with a heart of gold. She never hesitated to help anyone in need and loved her family fiercely. She had a deep love for horses and enjoyed riding whenever she could. Some of her greatest joys in life were cooking for her family, working in her flower beds, and attending all of her grandchildren’s activities and events. Her kindness, warmth, and unconditional love touched everyone who knew her.

Donna’s legacy of faith, love, compassion, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home with Bro. Neal Ridling and Bro. Jody Almand officiating. Burial will follow at Nubbin Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Cornish Funeral Home, The Funeral Home of Prescott, Ben Brazzel, Director.
