The long awaited Speedway at 2601 North Hervey Street in Hope (owned by 7-Eleven, Inc.) is nearing completion. This is a $5.6 million dollar addition to the Hope community, sitting on six and a half acres of land, across the street from Dos Locos Gringos. Construction of the project began on November 5, 2025, and is expected to be completed by July 15, 2026. The official opening of the store should be soon after.
Danny Bentley, project superintendent with Tony Wilson Constructors of Maumelle, AR., informed us that the Hope Speedway will be the second of its kind to be built by TWC in Arkansas. The main building totals at 4,800 square feet in size, with four aisles of groceries, along with space for packaged food, a coffee bar, soft drinks and restrooms.
Bentley also shared with us that Speedway will offer seven fuel dispensers (pumps) for automobiles and seven more for diesel trucks. Thirty-eight pull-in parking spaces for trucks will be open for use as well. Hope looks forward to opening day of Speedway!
