PRESCOTT – Michael Massanelli is spending some of his summer making and selling fishing bait through his own business, Michael’s Monster Catching Baits!
When I visited with Michael at the farmers market, he shared that he is saving money for college. His grandmother, Kathryn Hopkins, a retired teacher, said they are teaching their grandchildren responsibility and communication skills, all while having fun doing something they enjoy.
Michael was polite, made change for customers, and took time to visit with everyone who stopped by his table this morning. It was wonderful to see a young person developing business skills and working toward future goals.
P.S. His sister, Rory, worked along side him but we are going to make separate shout outs for each of them.
