LSU Jazz Band in Concert Saturday

HOPE – Jazz lovers have a wonderful opportunity this Saturday, August 22, to hear an outstanding concert by the Louisiana State University Jazz Band from Baton Rouge, LA. The “totally free” event begins at 2:00 p.m. at the William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace House and the Paul W. Klipsch Museum of Sound with parking on West Second Street. The concert includes several additional hours of jazz from other groups, including the Hope High School Jazz Band which is scheduled to perform at 3:00 p.m. Don’t miss seeing a major college jazz band in Hope this weekend. It is all in honor of former president and son of Hope Bill Clinton’s 80th birthday, which was on August 19. Bring a lawn chair and plan on having a good time. Food trucks will be on-site if you need a drink or something sweet.
