Jennifer McKamie Pitcock gained her heavenly wings on September 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Jennifer was born on February 6, 1963, in Hope, Arkansas, to I.J. McKamie and Patsy McKamie Bright.
Jennifer was a God-fearing woman who loved the Lord and loved her family and friends fiercely. Her faith was at the center of her life, and she shared that faith with others through both her actions and her beautiful gift of music.
A retired Southern Gospel singer, Jennifer was blessed with an amazing voice. Hearing her sing about Jesus was like hearing an angel sing. Music was one of the many ways she shared her love for the Lord, and those fortunate enough to hear her sing will never forget the joy and spirit she brought to every song.
Jennifer also had a heart for helping others. She devoted more than 40 years of her life to healthcare, serving in numerous roles throughout her career. Caring for people came naturally to her, whether they were family, friends, patients, or someone she had just met.
She was known for her beautiful smile and gorgeous red hair, but those who knew Jennifer knew that her true beauty came from within.
Jennifer loved to cook and believed deeply in the importance of gathering around the table as a family. Family meals weren’t reserved for Sundays or special occasions—they were an everyday tradition. No matter what she cooked, it was always good, and there was always love around her table.
For the last 14 years, Jennifer shared her life with her loving husband, Marcus Pitcock, who treated her like an absolute queen. She loved him dearly and he loved her just as much.
Jennifer loved being Mama and Grandma also. She loved all of her children with her whole heart, and somehow, she managed to love her grandchildren even more. If you knew Mama, then you knew her family and her precious cats and dog was her entire world.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Marcus Pitcock; her son, Kenneth Litton and wife Rachel; three daughters, Keisha Litton, Allison Pitcock, and Lauren Mohon and husband Luke; grandsons, William Litton, Kelbi Walls, and Wyatt Litton; granddaughter, Cadence Litton; and great-grandson, Cooper Jay Litton.
She is also survived by four brothers, Scooter McKamie and wife Christine, Jerry McKamie and wife Renée, A.J. McKamie and wife Lynn, and Eddie McKamie. one sister, Tanya Sellier; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved as though they were her own.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, I.J. McKamie her mother, Patsy Bright, her brother, Ricky McKamie, as well as one granddaughter and 3 grandbabies.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the entire staff at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas, for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion they gave Jennifer and her family.
Jennifer was an angel here on Earth to so many people. Now she is our angel in Heaven.
We can only imagine her there now, reunited with those who went before her and singing in Heaven’s choir—and knowing Jennifer, she’s probably already running it.
Her beautiful voice may be silent here on Earth, but the love, faith, laughter, meals, music, and memories she gave us will live on forever.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Falcon Cemetery under the direction of Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home, The Funeral Home of Hope, Ben Brazzel, Director.
