Quinn Anita (McVey) Cooper born November 9, 1978, in Hope, AR passed away on September 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of a family who will miss her more than words can say.
She was preceded in death by her father, Laverne Lee McVey, and her beautiful mother, Bonnie (Boka) Marie McVey, her grandparents and great grandparents, her nephew Josh Turner, and great niece Ivy Robinson.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Michael Lynn Cooper of 28 years; her brothers and sisters, Dawn Mathis, Dane McVey, Mia Clifton (Mike), Amber Turner (Richard), Tara Harrison, Roman McVey, and Misty Sorrells (Jim), Sheila Barnett (Tim), and Gena Jennings (Steve); her father and mother in law Mike and Bernadette Doucette; along with numerous nieces and nephews who were blessed to call her Aunt Quinn.
Quinn also leaves behind a work family who held a very special place in her heart, and her dear friend Monica.
And, of course, Quinn leaves behind her beloved fur babies, whom she adored like children-because, to her, that is exactly what they were.
Those who knew Quinn will remember her for her spunky attitude, obnoxious laughter, and one-of-a-kind personality. She could make her presence known, make you laugh, and leave you with a story to tell. She was a firecracker through and through, and she remained one until the very end.
Our family would like to extend a very special thank you to the incredible team at UAMS who cared for Quinn and fought so hard alongside her. There are simply not enough words to express our gratitude. We truly believe they are the best there is, and we will forever be thankful for the compassion, dedication, and care they showed her and our family.
Quinn was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed. While our hearts ache in her absence, we are grateful for every laugh, every memory, and every bit of sass she left behind.
It only seems fitting to leave you with a little Dolly-one of Quinn’s favorites:
“Find out who you are and do it on purpose.” — Dolly Parton
And Quinn did just that.
