Mr. Frederic C. “Bill-Bill” Thomas
January 10, 1965 – September 14, 2026
Mr. Frederic Charles Thomas, 61, of Hope, Arkansas, passed in the early morning hours of September 14, 2026, at the Springs of Hillcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Prescott, Arkansas. Fred was a diehard Dallas Cowboys Fan, when he was able, a very hard worker and most importantly a Christian who attended Haynes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed by multiple businesses in Hope, and while he was non-verbal, he built a village of friends who loved and supported him. There were many wonderful events to happen in his life over the years, but it is believed that the greatest highlight of all his years was when he had an opportunity to travel to Dallas and see the Dallas Cowboys play.
Fred was born to Mr. Freddie C. Thomas and the late Mrs. Helen Linda James-Thomas on January 10, 1965, in Blevins, Arkansas. In his younger years, his family relocated from Blevins to Hope. He spent most of his adult life with Rainbow of Challenges. He was one of four children born to his parents. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Helen Linda James-Thomas and his sister, Jacqueline Louise Thomas.
He is survived by his father, Mr. Freddie C. Thomas who now resides in McKinney, Texas, two brothers, Daryl Thomas and Julius Jerome Thomas, both of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. His aunts and uncles, Ms. Melba Jean Mays and Mr. Herman Snowden. Special cousins, Lamario (Christie) Hopson, Semeka Hopson, Felicia Hopson, Eugene Hopson, and Shahna Hopson, a host of other cousins, friends, co-workers, the staff of Rainbow of Challenges in Hope, Arkansas and his very special friend Monique Nicole Bullock.
His service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Haynes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 300 Arkansas 32, Hope, Arkansas 71801, where Pastor Frankie B. Mitchell will serve as Officiant and Eulogist. There will be a public visitation on Saturday morning September 19, 2026, at the church from 9:45 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Interment will be immediately following his service at Westmoreland Cemetery, Hempstead 308, Crossroads, Arkansas 71862.
