HOPE – On Thursday, September 17th, 2026, at 8:45pm, officers with the Hope Police Department
arrested Chester Pree, 70 of Hope, AR in the 1400 block of West Avenue A. Mr. Pree was
charged with Driving while Intoxicated and Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Personal
Injury. Mr. Pree was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held pending a
first court appearance.
On Friday, September 18th, 2026, at 3:40am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested
Freddie Adams III, 18 of Hope, AR in the 1200 block of North Long Street. Mr. Adams was
charged with Discharging a Firearm in the City Limits, Terroristic Act, Theft by Receiving and
Possession of a Controlled Substance. Mr. Adams was also served with a warrant for Forgery 1st
Degree. Mr. Adams was held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court
appearance.
On Sunday, September 20th, 2026, at 3:33am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested
Caesar Gates, 32 of Hope, AR in the 1800 block of North Hazel Street. Mr. Gates was charged
with Aggravated Assault on a Family Member, Domestic Battery 3rd Degree and Resisting
Arrest. Mr. Gates was held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court
appearance.
