Ms. Mattie Jeanette Jones 77, of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away at St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. She attended Lewisville School. She was proud member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Lewisville, Arkansas. She enjoyed listening to blues and dancing.
She was born to Mr. Ruben Jones and Mrs. Mattie Jacob-Featherson (Jones) in Lewisville, Arkansas. She is survived by One brother, Ruben Jones of Dallas, Texas. Two sisters, Alma Ruth Jacob and Amy Jones, both of Dallas, Texas. One nephew, Jack Dedner of Lewisville, Arkansas. Her devoted caregiver Mary L. Jones of Lewisville, Arkansas. She was a beloved daughter, friend, family member, aunt and most importantly a child of God. One brother preceded her in death Mike Jones.
Her service will be held on Saturday September 26, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 415 East First Street, Stamps, Arkansas 71860 where Sharon Henry will serve as the Officiant and Eulogist. Her visitation will at the Hamilton-Davis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday September 25, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Interment will be immediately following her service in the Boyd Hill Cemetery in Lewisville, Arkansas 71845.
