HOPE – The Hope Bobcat tennis team was challenged with stiff competition on Thursday, September 24th, when the Arkadelphia Badgers traveled to Hope Fair Park for a revenge rematch. The Badgers, struggling to compete with the Cats in their initial meeting, came into the meet with added firepower, giving Hope steep opposition. In a relieving change of pace, the temperature was finally cool and breezy, well deserved after months of playing in the burning heat. After Thursday’s test, the red and white will have back-to-back matches to end their regular season on Monday, September 28th, and Tuesday, September 29th. Monday’s game will be their final home game of the season, and will be played against the Mena Bearcats, while their Tuesday game will be an away match against the Dequeen Leopards. With there only being a single week of play left in the regular season, the Bobcats will be highly anticipating their District Tournament on Monday, October 5th.
