The Hempstead County Quorum Court had a short agenda on the Thursday night (9-24) regular meeting.
The ordinance read was authorizing Hempstead County, Arkansas to accept the conveyance of certain hospital facilities from the City of Hope, Arkansas; authorizing the execution of certain documents relating to hospital facilities. Dr. Vic Ford called it “housekeeping” and made a statement about it saying, “It’s a basic vote to accept half the ownership of the hospital from the city.”
Next regular meeting will be October 22, 2026, in the large courtroom.
