Tough loss for the Bobcats on Homecoming night.

Tonight, Hope Bobcats played the DeQueen Leopards. In the first quarter DeQueen started off strong with a touchdown and field goal taking an early lead 7-0. Hope’s offenses were trying hard to advance into the end zone but the Leopard’s defense was not allowing them to. The first half of the game the Bobcats had quite a bit of errors. The first half ended 14-0 with Hope falling behind DeQueen.

The second half started off slow for Hope. The Leopards took that to their advantage as they advanced their lead 33-0. The Leopards had gotten a penalty and then a false start in the third quarter. But that did not stop the Leopards from them from scoring again 40-0. Mercy rule then went into effect ending the third quarter. The end of the second half the Bobcats offense had a break through. They were fighting hard to get on the scoreboard and they did. Scoring two touchdowns and a field goal. They Leopards ran down the clock to their advantage ending the game 40-14.
