Remond Gabriel Bown was born on September 13, 1979, in Hope, Arkansas, to Herman Brown, Jr. and Shara Brown. He was a graduate of Saratoga High School, Class of 1997.
Remond lived an open-air life that combined an appreciation for nature with joy and social connection. He loved fishing, hunting, four-wheeler riding, and rooting for his favorite sports team, the New Orleans Saints.
Above all, Remond was a loving father and a giving friend, often sharing the fish he caught with his neighbors. On April 13, 2026, Remond passed away at the age of 46 at his home in Hope, AR. He will be remembered, deeply missed, and forever loved. May hr rest in peace.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Brown, Jr., and his nephew, Dashawn Compton.
Remond leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Juanille, DeAsia, and Tiffany; two sons, Marvin and Carter, his mother, Shara Brown; his sisters LaTonya Compton and AhLesha Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, close relatives, and friends.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Macedonia Baptist Church near Columbus with Elder Randall Green officiating. Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery, under the direction of McFadden & Hitchye Funeral Enterprises.
