Congratulations to Dr. Amy Leigh Overton-McCoy who was recently honored by the Arkansas Center for Nursing at their “Leadership & Legacy” awards April 20th at the Benton Event Center. Dr. Overton-McCoy is a Nevada County native and graduate of Nevada High School. As a geriatric nurse practitioner, educator, researcher, and leader, she has spent three decades dedicated to improving the health and well-being of older adults across Arkansas. She currently serves as Director of the UAMS Centers on Aging where she leads statewide clinical, educational, and community-based initiatives reaching all 75 counties.
