
BLEVINS – The Blevins School Board met April 20, 2026, in the school cafeteria, where members addressed a range of routine and operational matters affecting the district.
The meeting opened with a prayer followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Board members approved the minutes from the previous meeting as well as the district’s financial report.
During new business, the board discussed the status of a current board vacancy and agreed to move the Legislative Audit discussion to the next meeting due to incomplete distribution of materials. An update was also provided on recent storm damage impacting the district.
The board approved the district’s School Improvement Plans and authorized summer work hires. In addition, administrators presented a principal’s report highlighting recent events such as prom and senior night, along with current enrollment updates. Upcoming school dates were also shared with the board, and time was set aside to plan future board professional development.
An executive session was held to discuss personnel matters. Following the session, the board approved a personnel list and authorized a time sheet payment.
The meeting adjourned shortly after 8 pm.
