Shirley Ann Tucker of Hope, Arkansas – our beloved Mama, GiGi, Mammaw, and friend – passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, at the age of 83. She was born June 7, 1942. Shirley brought love and warmth to everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A celebration of her life will be held on her birthday, June 7, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Tucker; her father, Thurman Edward Beasley; and her mother, Lorine Mae Downs Hawley.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Jeannie and husband Danny Ledbetter of Hope, AR; Rebecca and husband David Smith of Hope, AR; William and Wife Candy McRoy of Genoa, AR; Shelia Stephens of Hope, AR; Jo Ann Elder of Abilene, TX, and David Stephens of Emmet, AR.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Heather and Bill Nawajewski of Hope, AR; Skylar and Daniel Harvin of Emmet, AR; Dalton Smith of Hope, AR; Douglas and Mercedes McRoy of Fouke, AR; Audri and Kevin Cobb of Hot Springs, AR; Joseph Elder and Dillon Clark of Abilene, TX; Dylan Moore of Jonesboro, AT; Keith Arnold of Hope, AR; and Justin Stephens of Hope, AR.
Her great-grandchildren include Peyton Cobb, Athena Martin, Natalia Harvin, Mason McRoy, Miller McRoy, Lillie Elder, Margo Clark, Steven, Gage, Wynter Phillips, Brayden, Kamren, and Jasper Arnold, along with numerous family members and friends who will keep her in their hearts.
